Words From The JPW3 Founder

Waging War on Disease and Suffering

What a privilege and joy it is to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is equally joyous to be part of a universal Body of believers and to work side-by-side with others that share the common goal to exhibit the love of Christ, manifest His Kingdom and disciple others in the overcoming power of living their lives in Christ.

I love the fifteenth chapter of John’s gospel and the picture of the vine and the branches. We live in the vineyard region of central California and are able to see the amount of care given to the vines to maximize the fruit they produce. Likewise, in our lives, our Father is the vinedresser and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so that they will bear more fruit. That pruning process is not always easy and comfortable but in the hands of a loving Father, it is always profitable and fruitful. Additionally, as followers of Christ we must abide in Him, to stay connected to the life source of the vine, for apart from Christ we can do nothing. He desires that we bear an abundance of lasting fruit, that we abide in His love and that our joy would overflow!!! Then He commands us (not a suggestion) in verse 12-13 that “We love one another in the same way as He has loved us and that we lay down our lives for others.” It is in this command that we commit ourselves and the ministry of JPW3 Outreach to the service of Christ. Jesus said, “they will know you are my disciples by your love for one another”. It is not the churches we attend, the bumper stickers on our cars or our political persuasion that establish our identity as a disciple of Christ but rather the God given love that we show for one another as we live our daily lives.

As His followers let us live big and bold for Christ. Let us put our lives in His hands, to be molded by Him, that we would be a useful vessel that brings glory to the Father as we demonstrate His love to a hurting world.

I like the quote by Martin Luther “ I don’t fear failure but rather I fear succeeding at something that does not matter.”

Mission Statement

  1. Under the submission of and through the unconditional love of our Lord Jesus Christ and Christian based discipleship, it is our earnest and faithful desire to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of prison inmates, parolees, “At Risk” Youth and their families in order to “Bring Down The Walls” and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
  2. To equip men and women in mind and character to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.

  4. To assist in the unification and fund raising support of various reentry and community outreach programs in order to meet the growing demand for both domestic and international social services. JPW3 will work to form an outreach collaboration among the various programs, to meet the needs of “At Risk” persons.
